Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Paint Prepper / Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for prepping vehicles for the paint shop. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

- Perform vehicle maintence and repairs, including light bodywork, painting, and buffing

- Assist lead painter in paint workflow activities from start to finish

- Utilize hand tools and power tools

- Ensure all jobs meet quality standards and customer satisfaction

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and inquiries

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of auto bodyrepair techniques and procedures

- Proficiency in auto painting and color matching

- Experience with buffing and polishing techniques

- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner

- Familiarity with dealership operations and industry standards

- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for the job

- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for repair work
